Du 5 au 7 avril, j’ai eu la chance de participer à la 6ème édition Devoxx France 2017 au Palais des Congrés à Paris. Je vous propose de partager mes impressions. C’était mon premier Devoxx (nul n’est parfait). Mon événement le plus récent en la matière était JavaOne 2016. Autant dire que la barre était très haute et je m’attendais à un événement sans doute de moindre ampleur, et certainement de moindre intérêt.

It occurred to me more than once, that when I suggested that a URL should better be served in HTTPS, I have been replied that there was no need for that because that URL didn’t host any confidential data. The data is not confidential, OK, but still critical, as an alteration of the hosted data may result in serious damage in the consumer data security. And, precisely, TLS does not only grant confidentiality in the data transmission, but also authenticity and integrity. I may not expect you to do it, but if you really want, here is the RFC 5246 . As you’ve guessed already, I won’t talk about confidentiality in this note.

“BreihzCamp”, mais qu’est-ce donc ?

Un camp d’entrainement Breton ? Presque ! Le BreizhCamp, c’est 3 jours de conférences et de “hacker-space” au sein des locaux de l’Université de Rennes. Il a été créé en 2011 à l’initiative du BreizhJUG. Et depuis, cette conférence ne cesse de prendre de l’ampleur, de se forger une identité propre et de s’imposer petit à petit comme un événement phare pour les développeurs en Bretagne France.
